Jason McDowall brings over 25 years of experience as a strategic HR Leader to his role as Executive Advisor at McLean & Company, where he supports and partners with clients to diagnose, plan, and execute upon HR priorities to ensure that they have measurable impact on the business.
Jason brings a wide and diverse background to McLean & Company. His expertise leading large and complex learning and development organizations like a business enables clients to understand and convey the direct impact learning has on results. Having worked in a variety of industries and global organizations, including Sun Life, Rogers Communications, CIBC, and most recently Sobeys, Jason understands the importance of partnering and collaborating to ensure HR solutions are aligned to the strategic mandate.
With his unique ability to combine sound adult learning principles with transformational strategy, Jason consistently elevates the impact to the organizational culture. With in-depth experience in Organizational Development and Succession Planning, Jason builds detailed plans that strengthen the business culture. As a lifelong learner, Jason continuously looks for new and exciting ways that Learning, Change, and Talent Management will have a critical impact for the organizations he supports.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and a diploma in Adult Education from Seneca College. He is a proud member of the LGTBQ+ community and is a member of the Start Proud mentorship program.
