About Elizabeth Woods
Elizabeth (Liz) Woods is Associate Vice President, Advisory Services. With over 25 years of business experience, Liz brings a diverse background to McLean & Company. Her HR experience encompasses advisory, consulting, and management roles, requiring a deep generalist knowledge in all HR disciplines, with particular expertise in culture, employee engagement, performance management, employee development, and leadership.
With her analytical approach and results orientation, Liz has earned a reputation for building HR capability and driving organizational change to improve business performance. Prior to her career in HR, Liz worked in business development and account management where she honed her skills in stakeholder engagement, needs analysis, and problem solving.
Liz earned her Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University, is a graduate of the Advanced Program in Human Resources Management from Rotman School of Management, and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). She has served as a Board of Directors member, most recently with a Community Health Centre in Toronto.
