What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?

It is customizable and can truly be the single source for all HR and payroll functions

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The customization and the reporting/analytics

What do you dislike most about this product?

The lack of a robust integration between the core Pro system and the recruiting modules. The information exchange is limited. With all the information in Core. I would like for there to be a more seamless and faster connection between changes in Core showing up in recruiting and onboarding.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is very beneficial if you can have an employee dedicated to UKG administration. Having a knowledgeable person on your staff who can resolve smaller issues and explain technical issues with UKG support technicians when problems arise. It is a complex system that can be a very powerful tool if you have someone that can set it up properly and keep it running smoothly for your managers and employees.

What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?

I think the constant request for feedback in refreshing, but what is done with the feedback will be the challenge. There are have been multiple "realignments" as a result of the feedback that has been given, and while it's excellent to see that customers are being heard, it's also frustrating that the needle isn't moving.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to build and integrate with other systems without going through developers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Customer support.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Put a team in place internally that will be responsible for holding UKG's assigned team accountable.

What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?

UKG Pro invests heavily in new ways to serve their customer and protect information.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love that UKG took feedback from customers and implemented several of my ideas - so many of my pain points disappeared, like being able to have multiple sessions logged in; and having an "Oops button" protecting the Finish Payroll step of the Payroll Gateway to protect against accidental clicks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

UKG talks up BI/People Analytics - but the truth is it's really difficult to learn and use. I asked a BI Tech how long it truly takes to learn, and it's 2-6 months of daily use/practice for 1-2 hours a day. Ugh. I think there should be a few reports included in the price - either a customized/tweaked version of an existing BI Content report, or a customized report. Why would you want customers using this product and not fully utilizing it/getting what they need? The Recruiting module doesn't and can't (per Rapid) meet our needs, and we have to pay for it (bundled) and pay to build something else. PLEASE stop changing the names ofeverything

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a solid product. Basic processes are easy, but customizing/learning the tweaks is difficult and takes time. We have several pain points left, but UKG asks for honest feedback and we give it, and they have implemented some of my suggestions - which made my job so much easier. I like that they listen.
