What differentiates WordPress.com from other similar products?
Having never developed a website before, WordPress has provided me with an infinite amount of customization options, even in the absence of programming expertise. Several online lessons are available for novices to assist them become acquainted with the program. WordPress is, in my opinion, a fantastic free technology that anyone can use to build a reliable website. But when things get complicated, you have to learn more about the subject and become well acquainted with all of the functions, which might take a lot of time. Extremely affordable and rather simple solution for creating the first suitable website. When one is willing to work.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Even with minimal experience, you can quickly and easily construct a fully functional, modern website using WordPress. However, websites that no longer "look like WordPress" can also result from properly configured WordPress. Customization options abound in terms of both appearance and functionality. Almost everything can be realized with the help of plugins, including blogs and online stores. Themes come in nearly every style imaginable, and those with the skills can even write their own or use CSS to customize them. When a content management system is used, WordPress is essentially quite error-prone CMS is already pretty.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Neues bisschen wie mich wird die Vielzahl a Möglichkeiten and Einstellungen verwirren. Only when thousands of plugins are available, choosing the right application can be challenging. I spent hours experimenting with different layouts and was ultimately dissatisfied with the outcome. Although I was not personally impacted, WordPress has a number of security flaws that make it difficult to use an open-source platform. I have found that having too many installed plugins increases the website's loading times. If there are no specialized knowledge gaps, it will be difficult to identify and address the causes.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Plugins allow for the quick manipulation of almost anything, including the provision of user content via private access and full rights management. While much prior knowledge is not required, it is advisable to at least become somewhat acquainted with it (just as with any other CMS). Then, WordPress assumes the appropriate configuration and maintenance, leaving practically little room for complaint. If you use a lot of plugins, you should consider both the security and privacy risks while using them if they are not running locally. If someone wants to dive in deep and learn a lot, they can do that as well; but, for the majority of use cases.
