Kanban Board is Great for Continuous Work

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
I'm on a marketing team of 10 people. We don't work in sprints. We use a kanban board in jira to manage our tasks. Work just flows from one column to the next.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's perfect for us because our work is continuous. We can see bottlenecks easily. If the "in review" column starts to get too full, we know we need to focus on reviewing, not starting new things. It helped us work so much faster.
What do you dislike most about this product?
it took a while to set up the board just right for our team. the default kanban board is very simple, and you have to go into the settings to add new columns and rules, which was a bit confusing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If your team's work is more of a constant flow than a fixed sprint, the kanban board is a much better way to work.

It offers flexible deployments models including jira cloud and jira data center for regulated or high performance environments
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect is its custom workflows and automation rules
What do you dislike most about this product?
Jira cloud can get expensive as the team grows or adds apps from the marketplace so that's the part that can be improved
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend integrating JIRA with CI/CD and source control tools like Bitbucket, gitlab or GitHub to enable issue key-linking , deployment tracking and PR traceability

Take the time to understand your team’s workflow before diving in. Jira is incredibly powerful, but it works best when tailored to your needs. Start simple, explore the templates, and don’t hesitate to use the help resources — they really come in handy!
