What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

As software developers, we have to make use of several different platforms to hone our development skills and to be able to curate our internal processes. To do this, we make use of several different project management methodologies and software, such as JIRA. A project management tool that helps us to create and manage all of our projects through a single platform is the module that focuses entirely on project management. In this module you will be able to create, edit, view and manage all types of projects.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

You can find all of our blogs about this platform here. However, that content was geared towards explaining the basics of each JIRA software module, and today, we're changing it up a bit. Instead of talking about each JIRA software module as we did in our previous posts, today we'll talk about how JIRA is the perfect project management tool that every PM should use, and what you need to know about it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The breakdown of projects, tasks, subtasks and errors is hard to follow and cannot be changed once created. Ticket generation for branch and sub-branch creation is somewhat difficult for beginners. The dashboard view could be better, it would be excellent to have a better interface.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Jira is a massive platform that is geared towards business project management that allows you to monitor, manage, track and handle all types of projects within your own company. As a software created to automate company processes, Jira itself is huge, and consists of several modules and extensions that help your company achieve its goals. Each and every one of these modules brings something different to the table, but they all make up this huge project management platform that is JIRA, and they can all be used together to extend the user experience.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

The attention to details in a project and also integrating the application with 3rd party vendors is fantastic.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Creating epic, stories, tasks, bug etc to track various tasks in a projects and making sure we dont miss anything in any product release and helps us with deliverables and timelines in a project.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Tracking Jira tasks is only better visible in Web GUI, you cant manage flawlessly the JIRA application via mobile phone.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If anyone is thinking of tracking tasks, maintaining the deliverables and managing project application then JIRA is an excellent product.
