What differentiates Constant Contact from other similar products?
I have not used other similar products for email marketing. However, the ability to design, schedule and send a campaign all in one platform is very helpful for our business purposes.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Scheduling posts is the best part of this product. It organizes campaigns on a calendar and is easy to follow.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I think there could be advancements in the templates for designing campaigns.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend using this product if you need to send email campaigns and track analytics on the campaign.

What differentiates Constant Contact from other similar products?
Constant Contact is unique because it caters to small businesses and nonprofits. The platform offers these industries specific features, including event management, donation collection and integrations with most popular small business tools. This specialized service also allows small businesses to get started in implementing an effective email marketing campaign immediately without being bombarded by excessive complexity.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite part of Constant Contact is the email editor itself. You can create visually engaging emails without the need to be an expert in design thanks to the drag and drop feature. I like the fact that the editor will automatically load brand colors and logos from a referenced website, which makes it easier to design with. The abundant number of customizable templates also make it easy for users to quickly build professional emails for everything from newsletters to advertisements.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The one thing I don’t like about Constant Contact is that you can’t do A/B testing on it. Currently, there is only subject line testing available on the platform – very restrictive compared to rivals that provide more in-depth testing. You can’t experiment with email formats, copy or send dates so you can’t optimize campaigns. That limitation can keep users from really getting a handle on what’s most effective for their audience.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you’re looking into Constant Contact, first establish an email marketing strategy including audience segmentation, campaign goals, and content development. Make use of the platform’s free learning tools (webinars, guides) to the fullest. Set up pilot campaigns on a small scale to test and adjust for your business needs.

What differentiates Constant Contact from other similar products?
For its price point, I suspect it has the features and whistles that a start-up company can use to start campaigning and provide content to its contact lists. But if you want to go further with more features, then it's time to level up.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of use. It's just fine to use it once and then come back again and again to get the most out of the limited features.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It's a low-level version that can act as a springboard to better platforms once you get your content down and deliverability tightened. Just know that if your business grows, you will need to move on.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Great entry level marketing automation, but be prepared to find another if (and when) your business grows.
