What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

Not a lot. From what I read and see, there are many products on the market that offer better functionality, design customisation and usability. However I do not have personal experience using them.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of data management and segmentation. It is very easy to manage segmentation through the use of tags and groups.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It just feels clunky and outdated compared to other products. It seems limiting.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Allow for more customisation and more variety in the preset templates.

What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

Mailchimp is one of the simplest & cost-effective email marketing platforms. It doesn't require much time to learn the software and get started with it. Although in-built email templates aren't that good, you can still create branded emails with the help of Canva; which is all you would need to get started.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best thing I like about Mailchimp is that they have been offering Free Plan for starters for as far as I can remember. It has all the required features you would need to start your email marketing. And, if you combine Canva images with the emails, you can create emails that are branded as per your needs even with their Free plan.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Mailchimp team seems to be improving Mailchimp (as they introduced customer journey etc.) but these improvements are way too slow if we compare it with other Vendors for email marketing & automation. Email templates aren't that good, and Website builder still seems like an old generation drag and drop email builder.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are just starting with email marketing in your business and are looking for a cost-effective solution, then you can go for Mailchimp.

What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?

It does a lot of what other products do and in my view or makes it rather complicated and difficult to use even basic features. The one place where mailchimp really does stand out in a positive way is the content studio. For real! It creates gorgeous designs using AI and I’m blown away by how fast we can create a ton of slick graphics with the click of a couple buttons.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

See previous answer: the content studio. Hands down this feature is unique, works well and even though you wouldn’t think of email marketing software as the place to crate great graphics, Mailchimp has done a great job of bringing the two together.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It’s overly complicated and not intuitive at all. It uses jargon heavy language and weird interns organization. Really hate how confusing and high the learning curve is. It has none of the sleek and simple design of most other email marketing solutions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use the free trial to see if this works wirh your brain. It’s a decent option for someone with a small budget just staying out. Although, perhaps even in that case, there may be better alternative.
