Great Project help, but at a hefty price.

What differentiates Jama Connect from other similar products?

The ease of use is one of the main items which stands out, and the ease of creating your business forms for use as well.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Since we shortly used the interface with other systems we are looking forward to establish a lot more connections to third party .

What do you dislike most about this product?

The administration module is fairly simple and I would like to see more information regarding the number of logins who logged in when did a user logged in the las time. Knowing what users are doing read, write update items.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Know your system landscape in your company and what you would like to gather on information on a project. Make sure all departments (such is the case in our company Electrical, Mechanical, Project Managment, Procurement, Software development, Electro-Optical etc) can use the same form for all the Items you define.

What differentiates Jama Connect from other similar products?

The product was already available when I started the job and I have investigated other similar products but it takes a lot of work to change over to another system.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The move to the cloud version was the best thing we have done in the use of JAMA in all the years. Our uptime went from somewhere around 95% to 99.99%, and in the past we could only update once a year while now we have every month an update. I love it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Still don't like the simple user access as we don't get approval for VPN or other way to integrate JAMA into our network we are stuck with the simple login feature of the software. Would like to see some extensions on the login features from JAMA, such as 2-factor authentication, password expiration date and process.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would like to see a reporting module for some complex reporting, the office reporting works fine for simple overviews.
