Hotjar lets you visually understand users click touch and scroll patterns. This is very useful for a dev cloud team especially when figuring out which elements are being used and which arent.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Traffic to applications in cloud environments is easily recorded and visual maps help development teams. Understand beyond whats happening to why something that charts dont show.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Session recordings can become noisy in high traffic situations sometimes. Irrelevant interactions are recorded which can make analysis take longer than expected.

Designers and product stakeholders in the context of user behavior. Fast implementation for non tech teams engineers dont need to develop long tracking plans also it starts quickly with a basic snippet and ready made heatmap.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Recording filters are a bit basic with segmenting and triaging session replays on large traffic sites can be tedious without advanced filter controls.

When you need to identify usability issues or friction points in your product it provides fast feedback and visual context. If you want deep product metrics and multi touch analytics its better to use Hotjar alongside a comprehensive analytics tool.
