What differentiates Atera from other similar products?

With Atera, you pay for one seat for the IT admin, not for every endpoint user or device. Deploy the agent to every device in your company, whether you have 5 or 500. Other solutions charge in tiers depending on scope, or per endpoint. Atera's users contribute to a library of scripts, and you can run, copy, modify, or write your own to help automate processes. Create your own custom reports including the custom fields you create. The more I use Atera, the more I customize it to my own unique preferences.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Atera gives me peace of mind knowing I can access laptops, desktops, servers, PC or Mac flavors. I have devices deployed across half the continental U.S. I can monitor, maintain and manage them from my desk in my home office. I can even manage many functions on the go with the app on my iPhone.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Atera's development is always moving forward, and they listen to their community of users. I know they are already working on it, but I would love for them to add MDM to their arsenal. I currently use an MDM solution I am not enamored with, and would love to bring that functionality within Atera.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Once you begin using Atera, you will wonder why you waited so long to do so. Atera allows you to create custom fields, I definitely suggest using those to help document your infrastructure. Some fields I've added are year device was obtained, hardware or software issues, previous users, and deployment location.

What differentiates Atera from other similar products?

Atera has a good set of features, very useful to an MSP like us. Our helpdesk team, highly rely on ticketing and remote access feature. Maintenance team use update and automation features. Some feature still needs to be fully developed, but Atera's team delivers new release on a regular basis, so we can

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Atera can be integrated with teamviewer and other products, to build a feature rich environment to work with, When we made the software selection, five ears ago, the feature that drove our choice, was the licensing model. Atera is licenced on a per technician basis, not on a per endpoint basis, so we can use all the feature to manage all servers, pc, devices of all our customers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

API doesn't expose a full set of data, so we can't fully integrate it with our ERP.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use group policy or Intune to distribute the agent to all PC and servers.
