Leader & Team
Two 3-hour sessions
Teams can thoughtfully explore how to collaborate effectively, understand each other’s strengths, establish structure, and build trust.
During the training session, participants will learn to:
- Understand self and others to leverage unique differences.
- Recognize the four distinct phases of the team lifecycle.
- Use the McLean & Company IDEA model of team effectiveness.
Promote Healthy Conflict for a Team Where Ideas Thrive
Conduct a Core Strengths SDI 2.0 Strength Deployment Inventory to understand you and your team's motivations and how those motivations change when conflict occurs, in order to navigate conflict effectively.
This training along with the Core Strengths assessment will give participants a better understanding of how they show up when things are working well and when they're experiencing conflict, so they can articulate their needs, talk through concerns, and continue to operate as a high-performing team, rather than get stuck in conflict.
The IDEA Model
Address four key areas to develop a high-performing team. The IDEA model defines key processes and actions that must be established to create an environment where your team can successfully operate.
Program Structure
In two three-hour sessions, a manager and their team develop a deeper understanding of their strengths and those of others. This training includes an SDI 2.0 strengths assessment for each participant with a team debrief and guided team charter build.
Participants will walk away with two key documents they can use to continue to deepen their working relationships:
- Team communication guide
- Groundwork for a team RACI chart
