A Great Project Management Tool, Once You Learn It

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Wrike from other similar products?

Wrike is a robust project and task management tool that allows for lots of customization based on your organization's needs and setup. That said, it requires a bit of training, especially compared to other PM tools out there, and can be difficult to organize if you have multiple projects or clients.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The unparalleled degree of customization for your setup and task tracking. It also has native time and expense tracking, which is a huge selling point for anyone servicing outside customers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The amount of initial training required to get the maximum benefit.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Wrike is for organizations with solid project management foundations already in place and clear SOPs for time and expense tracking. If you're a smaller team or one without said starting points, I'd consider a simpler alternative platform initially.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing

Streamlining Collaboration with Wrike

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Wrike from other similar products?

Wrike helps schools and universities manage complex projects involving multiple departments and people, like creating new courses or handling accreditation, better than other similar tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Wrike easily connects with school calendars and important academic dates, which other basic project tools can't do well. It lets students work together on group projects while still allowing teachers and administrators to monitor and control what they're doing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes tracking simple assignments becomes too complicated when compared to easier-to-use school tools.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'd recommend trying Wrike with just one department first before using it across the whole campus. Make sure to train teachers and staff really well from the start - the system is too complicated and will confuse people who aren't tech-savvy if they don't get proper training. Only get Wrike if you have IT people who can help set it up and manage it, because it's too technical for most schools to handle on their own.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity

Wrike: an out-of-the-box work-management solution!

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Wrike from other similar products?

What differentiates Wrike from other similar products is the ability to quickly start using Wrike. Wrike's intuitiveness makes Wrike administration and user acceptance successful.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspects of Wrike are the dashboards and the ability to cross-tag projects. The dashboards are intuitive to create and look good. The cross-tagging feature helps to organize projects and share in collaboration.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The Analytics reporting feature is powerful, but there is a steep learning curve. Also, the data doesn't load quickly; it might take a minute.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Define what features are important to you, and don't make assumptions. Wrike has some great features, but there are limitations too.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
