What differentiates VisitUs Reception from other similar products?

We first started using the VisitUs Reception app to track daily employee login/logout to replace a paper sheet, and it has been easy to use with either my cell phone or the iPad at the entrance.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Hard to track who what checked in until everyone was given access.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make it easier to change the user password while logged in. The default password assigned at account creation was random, but was unable to change it except for the "I forgot my password" link. You should be able to change it from the web portal interface.

Config & Use is simple but it isn't set and forget

What differentiates VisitUs Reception from other similar products?

The support received has been really good, always on hand even though the time zone for support is so different, we haven't had an issue go unresolved for more than 48hours.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Simple rollout to additional devices within the same site.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Print config is difficult and temperamental, this is mainly due to the recommended supported equipment not being the best - I wouldn't use this as a reflection of the VisitUs software itself but it is worth mentioning if badges and site ID are required by your Org.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Simplify your config, check-in should be Name/Details - Host Selection - Accepting on site rules via document acceptance. Too many steps in our use has resulted in the system being bypassed based on lack of understanding.
