How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

Tableaus capability is unparalleled.

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Tableau offers multiple deployment options for users and organizations ( in-premise, hybrid or a full hosted cloud option ). This greatly accommodates and favours the diverse data preferences and needs within my organization.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I am a lover of Tableau's user engagement community, which empowers users like myself to connect with other analysts and users of the Tableau software solution. This makes it simple to learn from fellow Tableau users continuously and has served me as an hub to find help with using Tableau, in the past. I should likewise point out Tableaus data visualization capabilities, which I believe is unparalleled by any other business intelligence tool.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Tableau comes with limited customisation options. This makes it difficult to use Tableau without added third party plugins and extensions.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Tableau is primarily for advanced users. It isn't the business intelligence software that I would recommend for entry or even mid-level data professionals.
Pros
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Security Protects

Very robust BI and Dashboarding platform

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
I have used Tableau, Power BI, Looker and similar no-code Dashboarding and Business Intelligence tools but I think Tableau is far ahead of the rest of its competitors in terms of their simple Interface. Even if someone is new to the tool, he or she can start trying out the features like adding dimensions and measures, without much of a training.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The options for sub-totaling, auto-generation of best form of view for any data-set, and the option of free-hand formatting of multiple charts within a dashboard is really very convenient. The ability to share across the company as well to external vendors via the Tableau Online app is very convenient because the app is available on mobile as well.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One of the problems with Tableau is that while we can colour-format values or measures, the visibility of the numbers gets impacted on doing so. Also, we cannot apply multiple sorts simultaneously with a different set of dimensions. Also, during initial implementation, we had faced some difficulty with Bitbucket Integration, for which out dashboarding processes were impacted.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Tableau is good only when you have skilled Data Analysts or at least data-minded resources in your organisation. Else it will not serve the intended purpose.
