What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My only favorite aspect about AppDynamics is that I can visualize deep level performance details of my applications. SInce the platform Is equipped with application performance monitoring in real-time, I am able to pinpoint the issue and their causes very promptly. Also, AppDynamics integration with other APM tools such as Dynatrace and New Relic expands my view of the actual state of my applications even further.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One is the preset limitation on the use of the platform, which does allow the user to address more targeted monitoring issues. Also, even though the platform possesses decent search capabilities, I personally would have wanted more.

The platform has loads of cool features, thus setting everything up in the beginning takes some work. There are also some dashboards that need modification according to our reporting needs.

Begin with monitoring your most critical applications first, then gradually expand your monitoring. It will be much less challenging to get the monitoring setup and it will allow your team to get more familiar with the system.
