Rippling –One Big Platform for HR, Payroll, and IT
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Rippling IT from other similar products?
The main difference that makes the product stand out from the others in the market is the integration with the employees’ data. Instead of having the devices and the access managed separately, everything is connected to the employees. For example, if an employee joins the company, everything about them, such as their accounts, access, and devices, can be auto-configured, and if the employee leaves, the access can be removed easily through the same platform. The second difference is the integration of HR, payroll, and device management all in one system, which makes it easier for teams, especially in smaller companies and startups.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I think my favorite part of using Rippling is that it’s a one-stop shop. Not only that, but I also think that many of its features are beneficial to our team as a whole. I think that it’s user-friendly, easy with payroll, and has great support. I also like that we don’t need to use a lot of different tools, as this helps us manage our employees more easily. I think that having great documentation and support means that using Rippling can be as convenient as possible.
What do you dislike most about this product?
My biggest concern with Rippling is that, with some of the more advanced features and customizations, they are tied into higher-tiered plans, which can increase costs as a business grows and requires more features. As a start-up, this can get a bit complicated from a cost perspective. Additionally, even though the tool itself is very user-friendly, some of the configurations can take a bit of time to understand, especially when integrating different modules. However, support is always able to clarify things for you.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
So, if you’re looking at Rippling, I’d recommend starting with the basic modules and then adding more as you scale. The tool really covers a large spectrum of HR, payroll, and IT management, so this approach will help. Take advantage of the onboarding resources; they really do make the process much easier. Once you have everything set up, the tool really can help to greatly improve the management of employees and reduce the number of tools you need to utilize.
