What differentiates Rippling IT from other similar products?

What makes Rippling IT different for me is that it doesn't feel like a standalone IT tool. Most products I've used focus only on device or access management, whereas Rippling connects IT operations with employee information and day to day people processes. When someone joins the company or changes roles, a lot of the work that would normally involve multiple systems can be handled in one place. That has made onboarding and offboarding much less tedious for our team. It's the combination of HR and IT workflows that makes it stand out more than any individual feature.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Rippling IT is the visibility it gives me. It's surprisingly helpful to be able to see who has access to what without digging through multiple systems or asking different teams for information. As a company grows, it's easy for software licenses and permissions to become messy. Rippling has made that much easier to manage. I don't spend nearly as much time following up on access-related requests or trying to figure out whether something was missed during onboarding or offboarding. It has made our internal processes feel much more organized.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If I had to pick something, I'd say I wish some of the admin settings were easier to find. Every once in a while I know exactly what I want to change, but I still end up clicking through a few menus before I get there. It's a minor thing, and you get used to it over time, but when you're managing employee access or updating workflows regularly, those extra clicks do add up. Other than that, I haven't run into anything that's been a deal breaker for us.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My recommendation would be to spend some time thinking through your onboarding, offboarding, and access management processes before you start using Rippling IT. The platform is most useful when you take advantage of the automation and connect the different parts of your employee lifecycle instead of treating it as just another IT tool. I'd also suggest starting with the workflows that take up the most time for your team and expanding from there. We saw the biggest benefits once we standardized a few of our internal processes rather than trying to customize everything on day one.

What differentiates Rippling IT from other similar products?

The onboarding experience of Rippling IT is one of the many beautiful aspects of it, It's almost seamless how easy it is to get onboarded through it. I've also noticed that our IT team is less stressed.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Elimination of possible human errors. just set it and forget it. This makes life so much easier for both the end user and the administrators.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The mobile app still needs a lot more work, I've noticed it's sluggish both on iOS and Android devices.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're looking for a seamless simple solution to most of your onboarding headaches and password management as well as SSO solutions, this is probably the best that you'll get out there, best support teams with excellent response times, doesn't get any better.

Rippling stands out because it integrates so many HR and IT functions into a single, easy-to-use platform. Unlike other tools, it combines reporting, onboarding, org charts, time-off management, and single sign-on in one place, which makes processes much simpler and more efficient.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is the reporting functionality. It’s highly flexible, allowing me to generate customized reports on headcount, departments, managers, start dates, and more. This level of visibility is incredibly valuable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

At this point, I haven’t found any major downsides to Rippling. The platform has been intuitive, reliable, and fully meets my needs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend Rippling to any company looking for an all-in-one solution that saves time and centralizes HR and IT processes. It’s especially strong if you value detailed reporting and want a platform that’s both powerful and easy to use.
