What differentiates Quickbooks Online from other similar products?

As I understand, Quickbooks is the stalwart accounting solution for SMBs, but there is a LOT of overlap between it and other similar products

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The fact that it's so widely used means that the integrations seem to work pretty well

What do you dislike most about this product?

For some reason, the core accounting functionality of Quickbooks is still not intuitive - it takes an accounting background (or knowledge at the very least) to actually understand what it's doing. Someday, someone will make a general ledger software that is truly user-friendly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

There is a habit/reflex of people talking about accounting to dismiss Quickbooks as mom-and-pop-shop software. As I see it, this is a perspective that originates from ERP salesmen/saleswomen, and doesn't reflect any actual understanding of the nuts and bolts of accounting. A reliable and accurate accounting process CAN be executed successfully in Quickbooks for many/most companies up to a certain size (the exact size can vary dramatically depending on the particulars of the company's systems and the industry).

What differentiates Quickbooks Online from other similar products?

Ease of use is definitely their strong suit compared to other services, this key feature is what sets them apart in the accouting universe, along with it's integrations to other platforms, such as Expensify.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

User friendly, hands down.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Their community page could have more content and organized instruction docs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Absolutely go through a free trial with them if possible.
