What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What I like best is one of PDWare's core and best features, project prioritization and Capacity vs Demand Analysis on the prioritized project portfolio. PDWare also has great functionality around time tracking and project labor and cost support.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Still trying to learn how to maximize benefit of reporting capability. I think it is there, we just need to learn how to use it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Keep it simple in the beginning. Leverage key capabilities like project prioritization and capacity vs demand analysis first to get the biggest bang for the buck. Then incrementally build from there.

I'd like to see more automation in administration.

I considered 3 other solutions during a month of demos and trials and I'm not regretting the decision. Simplicity of the tool is refreshing and a key in quick tool adoption across thousands of users.

We especially value the scenario modeling and “what-if” analysis tools that let us evaluate portfolio feasibility against real resource availability. The platform delivers clear visibility into priorities, progress, and capacity—all in one place. And the customer support is simply outstanding: responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive in helping us refine our setup to meet new challenges as our organization evolves.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Honestly, there’s very little to dislike about PDWare. The platform is stable and intuitive once configured, and the support team is exceptional. If anything, the only challenge is that PDWare’s breadth and flexibility require some thoughtful upfront design to take full advantage of its capabilities. This is not a drawback—just a reflection of how customizable the system is. Once structure is in place, it runs smoothly, scales easily, and keeps portfolio, resource, and financial views aligned. Overall, PDWare rewards good design thinking and delivers lasting value.
