What differentiates Patriot Payroll from other similar products?
Patriot definitely cares about their customers. They have a great product that works well and their support is amazing. The reports are easy to read and understand, the integration with QBO works flawlessly and support is always there when I get stuck.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The general feeling of being important and cared about. My clients think it is easy to use, their price point can't be beat and their support is always helpful and caring.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are a couple features I would love to see improved such as being able to change things about the employee without having to cancel the payroll you are currently processing. It would also be INCREDIBLE if you could turn on a feature that let you code hours by work comp code for construction companies. It would also be great if there was a feature where employees and business could enter their own information at onboarding.

What differentiates Patriot Payroll from other similar products?
Patriot Payroll stood out to me for two huge reasons - #1 They offer a full service payroll plan at a lower cost than any other provider I researched, and #2 They offer the Wyoming Worker's Comp filing, which no one else provides. This saves me so much time and money each quarter.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love that the payroll process is fast and easy. Any employee updates can be handled quickly. Running payroll takes about 15 minutes!
What do you dislike most about this product?
I don't like how much time you have to give yourself to do direct deposit payroll. If you don't run payroll on Monday, you can't have direct deposit on Friday. I wish they would move the deadline to Wednesday! This is especially tough on the holiday weeks with holidays on Monday, so that you have to run payroll the Friday before.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Get a vendor rep to go through the full-service setup with you, or else you may end up putting in the tax calculations incorrectly. They will walk you through everything!
