Notion stands out because it combines notes, documents, tasks, and databases in one place. Other tools usually focus on one function, but Notion lets me manage everything in a single workspace.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is the flexibility to customize pages and workflows, allowing me to organize projects, notes, and tasks in a way that fits exactly how I work.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can feel overwhelming at first and sometimes requires extra setup time before it becomes truly useful. Advanced features can also be limited without paid plans.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start with templates and keep your structure simple at first. As you get comfortable, customize pages and databases gradually to build a workspace that truly fits your workflow.

What differentiates Notion from other similar products?

What really sets Notion apart for me is that it doesn’t force you into a specific way of working. Most apps are either just a notebook or just a project board, but Notion is more like a bucket of workspaces. You can start with a simple page of notes and, as your project grows, turn that same page into a full blown database with calendars and task trackers. Amazing to translate a simple idea into actionable, detailed project workplans.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite part is the aesthetic and layout flexibility. Most productivity tools feel like work, boring style, they're grey, rigid, and boring. But with Notion, I actually enjoy spending time in it because I can make it look exactly how I want. Being able to add custom icons, cover photos, and toggle headers makes my workspace feel personal and engaging.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When you have a lot of data or complex databases with multiple relations, the app can get noticeably laggy and slow especially on mobile.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Yes, I'd recommend this project to anyone considering this product. Overall, its benefits outweighs the downfalls so I'd a great product.
