What differentiates NextCloud Files from other similar products?

The web interface offers calendar, contacts, notes, and task apps. It comes with a built-in music player, and the web interface happily played every video file we threw at it. Unlike other cloud storage apps we have tested, NextCloud Files allows fine-grained control over which folders are monitored as well as allows us to specify which uploads only occur over WiFi and such like.

What do you dislike most about this product?

In our tests the Android App was a little fussier with what media files it would play in full-screen mode. The full functionality of NextCloud Files, however, can be accessed and managed through its web interface via any modern browser.

If you want to enjoy the benefits of the cloud storage while maintaining complete control over all your data the you should consider using NextCloud Files as your cloud storage solution.

It enables the business to preserve several necessary collaterals on the server for sharing with colleagues with only the press of a mouse. Nextcloud Files allows users to interact while generating files and folders and enabling co-editing features. This is done to give its users roles-based access and to protect the organization's data from outside parties.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It enables the document owner to lock a particular file so that nobody else can change it. Communications apps can be used to chat, make calls, and even check emails due to intelligent networking. File transfers are highly safe, accessible, and secure thanks to this application. It runs like any other program when you have it on your desktop. Very basic and easy to understand. It is an organic part of your gadget.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Due to the prolonged storage of data on a third-party, public cloud platform, there may be issues with legal compliance and client reluctance. The inability of devices to sync files is the root cause of numerous cooperation issues. It is challenging to create new accounts and log in to the tool, which is a concern.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The fact that these informational files and data may always be accessible from the platform is the most excellent part. The user interface for this application is easy to understand and utilize. It was really easy to manage users, shared projects, and deadlines using Nextcloud's calendar.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's great that customers can utilize features that are similar to those of OneDrive. It's also a benefit since the fundamental elements, like the calendar and photo album, are available and used by everyone. Because the calendar corresponds with industry standards, smartphones can sync with it. It uses WebDAV and is free and open-source software. We can use our other ERP systems and website to supplement and expand the main software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the UI could be easier to use and necessitates more clicks than necessary. Furthermore, Nextcloud offers several improvements that may need clarification for the user if you are not an expert in PHP or web servers. That's a little disheartening because Nextcloud could have made the administrator's job easier if it had conducted a more thorough investigation of the environment surrounding its server and offered more detailed instructions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a solid cloud solution for files, calendars, and contacts. The free program can be modified by adding your features. Upgrades or modifications are not required. If Nextcloud is only used internally after installation, it can persist for decades. Comparing folder syncing to Nextcloud's adaptability takes a lot of work. The Hub's apps, on the other hand, focus on expanding its use into a wider spectrum than other services can.
