Its have all in one legal practice platform for Handles the entire client lifecycle from lead intake and CRM to case management, invoicing, payment collection, and accounting. For many competitors require separate products or integrations for some of these functions to strong client communication tools to secure client portal for document sharing, messaging, case updates, and invoices. It Built in text messaging with communication records automatically tied to cases and their Electronic signatures are included directly in the platform
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It secure messaging, document sharing, and case updates improve client communication and transparency. To integrated Billing and Payments for time tracking, invoicing, and online payment collection are tightly connected, helping firms get paid faster. It has ease of use to the interface is generally intuitive to making onboarding easier for attorneys and support staff.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Their custom fields for workflows, and reporting may not be as flexible as solutions designed for highly specialized or complex legal processes for reporting constraints while MyCase provides useful standard reports to firms that need deep analytics or highly customized reporting may find the options restrictive.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
MyCase is an best wotk fit for solo attorneys small firms, and many mid sized practices. If your firm has highly complex workflows extensive customization needs, or large scale litigation operations, compare it carefully with alternatives such as filevine or request a personalized demo and to test the platform using real world scenarios from your practice to pay particular attention to case document handling, and client communication workflows. If u were choice for firms seeking an easy to use to all in one legal practice management solution with strong client communication and billing capabilities and before purchasing.

Sales and VP lied about integration process

What differentiates MyCase from other similar products?
Mycase sales and then VP of sales lied about the integration process. We were assured that the integration team would transfer all of our documents and files over and that the process would take 5-10 days. After making a years payment in full we were told we would need to hire a third party vendor to do the integration. During the sales process we were REPEATEDLY told that ALL files would be integrated over to the Mycase system. None of this was true. Sales rep dropped off and then VP was rude. Will not refund. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
none. We refuse to try the program due to the lies and material misrepresentations by the sales staff, integration team and VP of sales.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Poor customer service and sales rep that lied and materially misrepresented the transition process. Upper management will not assist and treated rudely by all reps. Customer service doesn't exit. Long waits on the phone.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If starting a new business with no files being transferred over then this is a great system but trying to deal with 1000s of old files is a nightmare. This company lies about the process and ease. Use Caution!!!
