Ideal for collaboration at a wider scale

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?
Teams is probably a good baseline solution for collaboration, communication and some light project management throughout an organization. It has everything a good collaboration suite can offer (plus the features you get by using outlook and it's calendar), plus a strong video/voice conferencing system that makes it clear there's no rivals in what it does. Hard to beat.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
As with all things Microsoft, using it takes a while but once you learn how to do it. you immediately start depending on it. Teams quickly became part of my day to day up to the point my internal meetings and projects are 100% teams dependant.
What do you dislike most about this product?
New features are not deployed as quickly as I would like to see them out there.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Take your time evaluating it. There's a change management component you might want to look into if you're coming from other platforms that are not as integrated (i.e. even orgs using skype + sharepoint as a combo might find it a bit challenging), but it's totally worth it.
Pros
- Enables Productivity
- Helps Innovate
- Performance Enhancing
- Trustworthy
