What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
This is a great solution for internal communication. Similar solutions are more focused on product dedicated for creating publicly available content. This one is for closed communities where we focus on features that are simple and secure and we really have only what is needed. It is much easier to introduce new user to SharePonit than WordPress for example.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like that creating, editing and publishing pages takes very little time. In my job, I often have to publish information about what I do and the ability to do it quickly and efficiently is very important to me. The same goes for working with documents and reports where you can quickly edit public documents even while other people are doing it at the same time.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes when creating pages, I lack the ability to develop my own solutions. I understand that such options are blocked for security reasons, but I would like this to be corrected.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Very good solutions for teams with 10 or more people. It improves communication and the ability to share work and its results.
