What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

The biggest differentiation would be that its managed and developed by Microsoft which provides timely updates and tweaks in bugs and support is great in terms of learning.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love how Microsoft SharePoint is able to integrate with other Microsoft products seamlessly and provide a very smooth experience in terms of usability. We use different Microsoft Products in our organization and this being working with them seamlessly is just a cherry to its already great functionalities and features. I am also very impressed with its searchability features making tracking essential files very easy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is nothing particularly that I dislike about SharePoint, but it does lack the User Interface and User Experience that the other Microsoft products provide. It's just not visually appealing and feels a bit dull in comparison to other Microsoft products.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a must to have software if you are looking for a document management and enterprise needs software that promotes collaboration and Teamwork. If you already use a lot of Microsoft products, then it is just a no brainer to not use Microsoft SharePoint due to its capabilities of working seamlessly with them.
