What differentiates Microsoft Project from other similar products?
This app collaborates full/large scale projects. For example, my company uses it for our nationwide roll out all new residential properties, with addresses, locations, who is the development project manager, VP manager, construction liaison(s), full cost of builds, # of units, and much more. Almost like a supped up version of Excel.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I use Project to look at entity names, locations and several data points to finish my IT part of each project. Once users are migrated to O365, Enabling Project is a simple add license check box and hit the save button.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Pricing of this product is inconsistent, I get 400, 1400, and 700 per seat. O365 is pricing is better than the old stand-alone versions. The licenses you have, there's a very small discount.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you want a big project collaboration, with a lot of data to enter, this product makes it easier, and is way better to read than Excel. A product like this is not ideal on mobile devices if its capable.
