ease of use, especially when creating prototypes, real-time collaboration, all of this greatly speeds up development

licensing was quite expensive, it's not for small companies in my opinion.

try to carry out tests before purchasing, check the type of project, consider quick and simple apps, fully explore integrations, evaluate how it integrates with existing systems in your company

Here are my favorite aspects of Mendix in points: Collaboration-Friendly: Visual modeling enables both business users and developers to work together seamlessly. Faster Development: Speeds up application development by reducing the need for extensive back-and-forth between business and IT. Accessibility for Non-Technical Users: Empowers non-technical users to actively participate in the development process, ensuring business needs are met effectively.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing as such, it is evolving and bringing new features to enhance its horizon.

I would strongly advise them to use mendix for their enterprise development , as mendix is fully cloud native, comes with many out of the box widgets and modules which provides solution to almost every use-case that any org need

My favorite aspect of Mendix is its visual development environment. It makes building applications intuitive and accessible, even for those without a deep coding background, while still allowing experienced developers to add complex functionality when needed. The speed at which you can prototype, iterate, and deploy applications is a major advantage.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The aspect I find most frustrating about Mendix is that handling complex offline scenarios on mobile apps can be cumbersome. While basic offline functionality exists, conflict resolution and background synchronization could be more seamless, which sometimes slows down development for apps that need reliable offline support.

I would recommend Mendix to organizations looking for a flexible low-code platform that supports collaboration between business users and developers. It’s well-suited for rapid prototyping and building scalable enterprise applications. However, I would advise evaluating mobile offline requirements and complex integrations upfront, as those areas may require extra planning.
