After connecting Mailchimp with our CRM systems using their API, we were quickly able to do email marketing

Intuitive layout & workflow, you will quickly get to grasp with this platform

Can be rather expensive if you need to email a large group

What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?
Mailchimp is really the best for the start up. While it's not a full blown CRM, it's somewhere GREAT to start. I've used it for years and have stopped, then come back to it twice. It easy to approach and very easy to use. I love it.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like how I feel like I'm in control of using the software every time I click it on. Other CRMs are so confusing to me and make me feel like I have to hire out for someone to manage it. MC makes me feel confident as a user.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I'm not in love with the new drag and drop template creator. It can get a little confusing on the left side navigation bar.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would say definitely give it a try. Start building your list and actively sending out updates a few times a month. MC makes it easy to share what's going on with easy photo uploads and design options.

What differentiates Mailchimp from other similar products?
Integration with a vast amount of other 3rd party applications, is an important point of difference, which exist between MailChimp and similar products. The ability for MailChimp to integrate with other applications, has enabled us better execute our marketing plans.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I have began trying my hands on Mailchimps "creative assistant" for a few months now, and I cherish how it is able to generate design ideas, for our email marketing templates. While the designs generated are not always what we seek, it helps us in the area of giving us newer design ideas.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Mailchimps email templates cannot be fully re-engineered to our taste. In most cases, we have either had to design our own templates from scratch or simply do minor customizations, to what MailChimp provides.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
We have found MailChimp to be incredibly valuable. I do not think it provides the best analytical metrics , when compared with other solutions out there though. However, depends on what is being seeked by the user.
