What differentiates M-Files Content Collaboration from other similar products?
In our organization, we have to share hundreds of files on a daily basis and for this, our teams and workers require a secure way to collaborate and share files both inside and outside of our organization, and the M-files; the robust platform enables us to do so while also ensuring that we have tight control and security over our data assets.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One of my favorite features is its interface with Microsoft Office Online, which allows us to edit Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files directly in the browser window without having to launch the Office desktop software. It's also compatible with Android and iOS devices, allowing us to make modifications to objects while offline and quickly construct metadata tooltips, and explanations.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It was also a little intimidating for our new employees. We had some troubles with the rollout because we needed to properly train our new employees so that they could get a good handle on it, otherwise, we'd be concerned about the security of our data assets.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
M-files are the most secure and reliable way to share files, but it requires extra effort while you are setting it up. However, if we compare its set to other alternatives, I believe you will prefer it because it is simpler than others and the initial configurations are simple, but if done with great care, you will get a lot more out of it.

What differentiates M-Files Content Collaboration from other similar products?
With M-files we can easily organize and access our company data from anywhere. M-files doesn't only help us in document sharing but it also integrates smartly with our workflow, ensuring that we always have access to the knowledge we need to complete our job.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The seamless interaction with Microsoft programs is the best ever feature. This made incorporating the use of M-files into our office routine a breeze. A simple and intuitive graphical workflow designer is also my favorite which makes creating a workflow a little simpler. We were able to set up procedures for modification management and new data management with M-Files.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We experienced some challenges with the rollout because we had to coach all of the customers, especially those who found it not so easy to use and clean at first.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Anyone who needs to collaborate with others on documents and provide information should have M-files software on hand. M-files is an excellent tool for consolidating online storage, sharing, and retrieval of papers and digital content.
