What differentiates Laserfiche from other similar products?
N/A - I haven't used competitive products. When I started my role, Laserfiche was already in place.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's overall product and feature offering. I also like that each department has their own universe in HOW they use Laserfiche. It's incredibly adaptive.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing, if I get frustrated something it's usually user error. Most of my issues are educational and I can resolve that quickly in the community, the service providers and Laserfiche support.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Try Laserfiche for a few months - a true demo and you will find that it can't be matched.

What differentiates Laserfiche from other similar products?
Laserfiche stands out not because it does one thing better, but because it combines several capabilities into a unified platform and executes them with strong governance and automation depth. In practical terms, it is less a document management system and more a platform for operational transformation.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Forms and Workflow. Forms has enabled us to replace manual, paper-based processes with intuitive digital forms that are easy to design, deploy, and manage. This transition has reduced errors, accelerated data collection, and provided immediate visibility into submitted information.
What do you dislike most about this product?
While Laserfiche Forms is a strong tool overall, there are aspects that can be limiting depending on the complexity of your needs. One notable drawback is its limited flexibility for highly complex form logic and user interfaces. While it supports conditional rules and dynamic behavior, it can become cumbersome when building advanced, multi-layered forms. Compared to more specialized form platforms, customization options for layout and user experience are somewhat constrained.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If your objective is to modernize and standardize business processes—not just store files—Laserfiche is typically a stronger fit than many alternatives.

What differentiates Laserfiche from other similar products?
Other products lack the features, and are more complicated to fix and maintain. Other tools might have some of the same building blocks, but aren't at the same maturity.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Workflows and automation. Taking uninteresting tasks away from users so they can be more effective.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are some frustrations around audio or video files, but these are minor in comparison to the rest of the suite. Sometimes licenses or user access can be a pain, but usually is a minor inconvenience.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Start with the most visible pain points in critical processes and automate them to as small as possible. Don't automate a bad process digital, but improve the process when it is digital.
