What is jitsi?

Jitsi is a set of open-source projects that allows you to easily build and deploy secure videoconferencing solutions. We are best known for our Jitsi Meet video conferencing platform, meet.jit.si where we host a Jitsi Meet instance that the community can use for totally free video conferences , and the Jitsi Videobridge that powers all of our multi-party video capabilities.

What differentiates jitsi from other similar products?

I love the fact that Jitsi offers a web app that just works perfectly and includes all necessary features for high-quality meetings.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

That it works as a web-app, nothing is required to be installed.

What do you dislike most about this product?

May often disconnect when a big number of users is online. But only occasionally and for a bit, not really disturbing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would highly recommend the use of this product.

Ease of use, no software installation required, no user account required to start meetings.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Free version comes with all the features that 95% of users need. Beautiful interface when sharing a screen.

What do you dislike most about this product?

No direct file sharing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just try it and you will probably never think of using anything else again. Just like Zoom, only cheaper, safer (privacy-wise) and easier to use.
