Intercom brings fluency to customer engagement

What differentiates Intercom from other similar products?

Intercom is more than a tool for performing helpdesk functionalities in my opinion, it is an entire customer service system that encompasses workflow and task automation, semi-email marketing, social media integration etc into what the conventional helpdesk program used to be . With Intercom , we have been able to perform other functions aside communicating with customers within a chat interface, thereby negating the need to maintain more software tools for customer engagement purposes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I appreciate Intercoms Fin chatbot and its ability to utilize the knowledge we feed into it in conversations with customers. Unlike some other chatbot that I have had experience using in time past, Fin's responses are as humanlike as possible and as detailed as a human response would be. The Fin chatbot is able to resolve complex requests and questions in a way that I haven't seen any other Chatbot do.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Does not integrate with Salesforce and its email support feature lacks threading for messaging, making our message interaction with customers tedious to track and a bit disorganized.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Unlike regular helpdesk programs, Intercom comes with a steep learning curve and this has much to do with the array of customer resource, features and capabilities available to users on the platform.

What differentiates Intercom from other similar products?

The sales and support staff work more efficiently by automating tasks and centralizing all correspondence into a single inbox. Making judgments based on data is aided by its provision of comprehensive metrics on user interactions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Live chat allows you to have direct conversations with customers on websites or apps, just like Intercom does. You can answer common queries, suggest products, or direct customers to real agents. To increase user engagement and retention, you can use it to send automated emails or in-app messages.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its interface is user-friendly, but sophisticated configuration and customization can be time-consuming.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Intercom is a platform activity monitorer that I suggest using to assist customize interactions.
