What differentiates inriver PIM from other similar products?
The easy of use and easy setup, I believe
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
That you can do a lot without the need for coding, and that there's additional purchases available to extend the use of inriver.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As far as I know, there's no way to administrate export settings without coding. Some of the templates used in for instance Content Store requires coding experience. All in all, you are able to administer and use the system without coding, but when you want to itnegrate or do more customized applications, you will need coding experience.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's a big system with lots of capabilities. If you require some or all of the extra functions, you should look into it. If you only need a PIM-system for data management, I would look for a cheaper option.

What differentiates inriver PIM from other similar products?
Service makes all the difference, and we had a dedicated team that we met with regularly that was always willing to help, which was a big plus for my small team (speaking in past tense because I have left the company I used the inriver at).
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ease of use, I was not an IT professional but was able to customize the system myself with the help of our inriver support team and their online community.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We had difficulties with our integration to Salesforce (only in the form of media, we had to manually uploaded media from inriver to Salesforce B2B). This, however, was not inriver's fault but more so a Salesforce difficulty, and they were working on a fix as I left the company.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Don't be intimidated by all of the features, your support team, the documentation and training materials, and the community are super helpful.
