Solid tool, easy to use, but wish it integrated AI

What differentiates Heap from other similar products?
My experience having trialed a bunch of other tools is that Heap has the best user experience, it's simple enough to use for non-data folks. It is definitely something you can hand to teams to self-serve their stats and hopefully be curious enough to explore it for deeper insights Heap also doesn't require you to add tags everywhere to track stuff, it tracks everything by default
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The dashboards and daily/weekly updates are great. Multiple views of the data visuals is useful too.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wish it had better AI integration - i want it to tell me what i need to know based on a natural language search or prompt. I think over time, despite it being easy to use - you want it to do the work for you. I'm saying this as a founder rather than a BI/data person, but AI has gotten powerful so quickly I think a tool like Heap extract insights based on themes rather than constructing reports. It tracks everything by default after all.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you have parts of your web app that has high traffic but not much value (like public share link pages etc) remove the Heap code from those otherwise it gets expensive really quickly.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Saves Time
- Respectful
Cons
- Less Generous
- Under Delivered
- Less Friendly Negotiation
