What differentiates Google Vault from other similar products?
Google Vault is best at protecting and archiving particular Google products data. In my software experience, it's usually best to use the vendor's soltion to protect or manipulate data. It's the best for retaining Gmail and other frequently generated Google product data.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect is that its right included in Gsuite which makes it easy to find, very reliable and easy to use. It's very straightforward to pick and choose what data to reain.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Other than the Enterprise Essentials tier of GSuite not having full access to the capabilities of Vault theres nothing to dislike about this product.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I definitely recommend really checking out and test-driving the features and benefits of using built-in Google Vault before considering some outside vendor's solution. Give it a fair shake in a non-production test bed environment to get a real idea of how will it will work protecting your live GSuite data.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Efficient Service
