What differentiates Freshservice from other similar products?
The noticeable difference is the user experience. Freshservice keeps the interface clean and straightforward, both for IT agents and end users raising tickets. Everyday actions like updating incidents, assigning tasks, or closing requests are intentionally kept simple and require fewer steps compared to more complex platforms. And in this automation and AI are also built in a way that feels accessible rather than complex.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The strong point is how it reduces friction in everyday operations. Ticket handling, routing, and basic automation feel lightweight and intuitive, so we’re not constantly fighting the interface or building complex logic just to do routine tasks. And in a lot of ITSM tools, we end up spending a surprising amount of time just operating the tool that is supposed to help us operate IT.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The thing that can be frustrating is that deeper customisation often hits a ceiling. We might find ourself wanting more control over how data models behave, how workflows brach, or how tightly we can integrate edge-case operational logic. And at a smaller or mid-sized scale, the simplicity is a strength. But as soon as you move into more enterprise-grade requirements like multi-layered approval chains, highly customised workflows, or very specific compliance-driven processes that we start noticing that the platform doesn’t bend as freely as heavier ITSM tools.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend it with confidence is in environments that value operational simplicity over deep customisation. If our goal is to standardise IT support, reduce ticket chaos, and introduce ITIL processes without building a heavy enterprise platform from scratch, Freshservice fits that well. And Freshservice is a good recommendation if anyone wants a system that stays out of our way and lets us focus on IT operations.

It's an excellent resource for managing the company's IT assets and for providing timely, accurate support to employees and customers across the board. I like how straightforward it is and the convenience of use implied by its sound design and simple operations; it also features a very effective ticket manager, allowing us to track tickets in detail and correctly from start to finish.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In the age of information technology and the pursuit of better management in general, Freshservice has become a vital tool for my company. We are able to save a lot of time and money thanks to the streamlined process it facilitates for managing assets and incidents, which ultimately benefits the development and expansion of our company.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There isn't much information available to help train new users, and the software's filtering features are minimal.

It's a win-win solution for any business that needs IT services; the tool is intuitive, simple, and packed with features that make the most of its users' information literacy. We felt obligated to fill this void because information technology (IT) is crucial to every company's expansion.
