What differentiates Burp Suite from other similar products?

there are no other tools that can perform as well as burpsuite, charlsproxy and fiddler and other tools are not as capable. fiddler is okay for intercepting the desktop based application which currently burp is not able to do but I simply forward the traffic from fiddler to burp as burp is just better at everything.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Everything! its a very good tool with all the necessary requirement for appsec.

What do you dislike most about this product?

it needs support for non http based protocol interception as there is no tool to do this properly

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

go for the tool and also the brupsuite academy, as it will teach how to use the tool and most common attack tactics.

What differentiates Burp Suite from other similar products?

Burp Suite stands out because it combines many web testing tools in one place. It lets pentesters intercept and modify web requests, test vulnerabilities manually, and automate scans. Its easy workflow and strong support for manual testing make it very useful for finding security issues in web applications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite part of Burp Suite is the proxy and repeater tools. They make it really easy to see, modify, and test web requests, which helps me find security issues faster and more accurately.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The thing I dislike most about Burp Suite is that some features, like the automated scanner, can be slow on large applications, and certain modern APIs or complex authentication flows are not fully supported out of the box. This means I often have to spend extra time manually configuring tests.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend Burp Suite to anyone who wants to learn or work in web security testing. It is a powerful tool for finding security issues in web applications, but it does take some time to learn properly. I also suggest using the PortSwigger Web Security Academy labs because they are very helpful for practicing real vulnerabilities and improving skills.

What differentiates Burp Suite from other similar products?

It is one of the best tool for web application penetration tool which include variety of feature like payload testing, deep packed inspection, intruder & so on. With this tools you can test variety of web application with different factor like security mechanism, authentication / authorization business logic.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Favorite aspect of the burpsuite is intruder which is automated payload testing feature and also able to add the extension with powerfull packet inspection. I also love the burpsuite (port swigger ) academy for learning bug bounty.

What do you dislike most about this product?

GUI is quiet hard as beginner if fells over wellmed and hard to learn but over the practice of 3 to 4 month you can easily make it easy.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Great product if you are penetration testing or bug hunter, considering this product will worth it as it give the variety of feature and extension to test your web security and application security.
