Awe-inspiring Metalogix Archive Manager

What differentiates Archive Manager for Files from other similar products?

Our entire organization uses Metalogix to keep mailbox overflow under control. We also use Metalogix to link emails to Job Records on some of our files and emails that are part of our in-house ERP system. As an alternative to storing everything indefinitely, I can apply different policies based on where and what the data is. I can then move the files to a more affordable storage location.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

In terms of reliability, Archive Manager is one of the most stable and easy-to-use options available. For example, MAM's PST Scavenging feature can search the network for rogue PST files and import them into MAM so the PST can be cleaned up.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The learning curve for Archive Manager is steep. It appears to be overly complicated in some areas. It's up to you whether or not you want to spend a lot of time reading the recently acquired never. Since this change, they've lost a lot of support. When I've opened a ticket in the past, I've been prompted to request a particular service.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a great deal less expensive than Veritas Enterprise Vault and a great deal more cost-effective overall. When it comes to protecting myself from ransomware, I turn to Archive Manager. Many times I've been able to quickly restore encrypted files using this program, which does an excellent job of indexing, archiving, and retrieving encrypted files.
