What differentiates Ahrefs from other similar products?
Ahrefs stands out because it gives you really strong competitor and backlink insights in a simple way. You can quickly see what is driving traffic to other sites, what content is performing best, and where their links are coming from, then use that to shape your own SEO plan.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect is how quickly it shows you what is working in your market. I can look at a competitor, see which pages bring in traffic and which links are helping them rank, then turn that into a clear plan.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What I dislike most is the price. It is brilliant, but it can feel expensive if you are a small team or only using it occasionally.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
My recommendation would be: start with a couple of core use cases, competitor research, keyword research, and fixing your biggest technical issues. Set up a simple routine (weekly checks, monthly reporting), and keep your tracking organised from day one (projects, tags, notes), otherwise it is easy to end up with lots of data but no clear actions.
