Regina L. Ross brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience and the unique perspective of having been a McLean & Company member during two previous Chief People Officer roles.
Often describing herself as "a business leader who happens to work in Human Resources," Regina offers a distinctive lens shaped by an unconventional career path. She began her career as an Industrial Engineer before leading operations, logistics, continuous improvement, and strategic planning initiatives, ultimately transitioning into HR leadership. This multidisciplinary background enables her to connect business strategy, operating models, organizational design, and talent practices in ways that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Throughout her career, Regina has advised CEOs, executive leadership teams, and boards across Fortune 500 companies, global technology organizations, and mission-driven enterprises. Her experience spans manufacturing, retail, logistics, financial services, education technology, and nonprofit sectors, where she has led enterprise-wide transformations involving organizational design, leadership development, workforce planning, culture transformation, HR operating models, change management, and talent strategy.
Prior to joining McLean & Company, Regina most recently served as Chief People & Operations Officer and Chief People Officer in the nonprofit sector. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles with notable brands such as Pitney Bowes, Amazon, Target, and Mars, where she successfully led large-scale business transformations, global HR initiatives, and operational turnarounds.
Regina is passionate about helping HR leaders elevate their strategic influence by translating business visions into practical talent strategies that strengthen organizational capability, drive sustainable performance, and build high-performing workplace cultures where people thrive. As an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and former Chief People Officer, Regina is known for helping executive leaders think more strategically, navigate complex challenges, and translate insight into action.
Regina earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University. She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Certified Lean Practitioner, Certified DISC Assessment Consultant, and certified Thomas Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) Analyst. She is committed to lifelong learning and believes that exceptional business performance is achieved when strategy, leadership, culture, and operating systems work together in alignment.
