Jansel is a progressive HR leader with over 25 years of global experience across commercial real estate, consulting, manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, technology start ups, and postsecondary education. As a principal director of HR Advisory Services at McLean & Company, Jansel leverages her deep knowledge of HR technology and draws on a strong track record of leading medium- to large-scale HR transformations to help leaders deliver measurable business impact.
Her experience spans multiple technology domains, including human capital management, talent management, learning and development, payroll, applicant tracking systems, and enterprise resource planning. She also brings broad expertise across the full HR lifecycle, including HR strategy, culture, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and HR analytics, and is known for connecting business and HR priorities into clear, actionable strategies that maximize the value of HR technology and AI investments.
Jansel is passionate about developing others and advancing the HR profession. She has taught HR strategy at the postsecondary level, mentors MBA and college students, and serves on the Program Advisory Council for the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University.
Jansel holds an MBA from the University of Toronto and a BA from the Middle East Technical University in Türkiye. She is a Certified Change Practitioner (Prosci) and is certified in the Hogan Suite of Assessments.
