Catherine McKeown is a dynamic people and culture leader and the Chief People Officer at Hammond Power Solutions (HPS), where she drives transformative strategies that put people at the heart of business success. With over 20 years of experience leading global human resources initiatives, Catherine is a passionate advocate for creating inclusive cultures, developing future-ready talent, and guiding organizations through change with confidence and clarity. Her leadership philosophy centers on empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
With over two decades of experience leading human resources strategy across global organizations and brands such as McCain Foods, ATS Automation, Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee she championed innovative programs in leadership development, engagement, and organizational design. Catherine is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), attended the Bachelor of Business Administration program at York University as well as advanced studies in strategic human resource management and project management at Dalhousie University and University of Toronto.
Passionate about unlocking people potential and building workplaces where people thrive, Catherine also serves as Vice-Chair on the Board of the Electro-Federation of Canada, shaping the future of workforce development and industry leadership initiatives across the industry. In addition, she volunteers as Chair of the Human Resources Committee on the Board of Directors for Hopewell Support Services a not for profit community services organization.
