What differentiates Vmware Cloud Foundation Operations from other similar products?
Aria Operations(Formerly known as vRops) is quite unique tool which is very useful for monitoring, tracking, alert generating of our VMware infra. Aria Operations not only monitors and manages VMware suite but also we can integrate our AWS, Azure, Citrix environments and monitors them as well.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspects of Aria Operations is it's real time monitoring and timely reports. We can almost track the infra utilisation, user counts and make custom dashboards depending upon our requirements and make them easily understandable to others while presenting.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The support of VMware is Terrible. Recently we have upgraded our Aria Operations to a latest version, and encountered problem with our connection servers after Aria upgrade, We raised a case with VMware for that, but we resolved the issue even before they reviewed the logs.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are using VMware Infrastructure, or any other Virtualization or Cloud Infra for that matter, VMware Aria is the best choice to make real time monitoring of the infra.

What differentiates Vmware Cloud Foundation Operations from other similar products?
VMware Aria Operations analytical capability is outstanding when compared to other to other similar tools. The dashboards are very useful for our project workload estimations.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect os it's capability of generating the visual dashboard of our entire infra, as a financial firm, we nees to keep our infra up and running everytime, I often monitor the dashboards made by IT team and alert of if there's any excessive utilisation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Last week our Aria Operations went down, due to some disk space issues. IT team told me that the techinal support engineer doesn't took that seriously as we are not a premier partner. It almost took a week yo get ot back up and running.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Go for it. If you are looking for real time monitoring.
