USU Software Asset Management gives complete visibility and control over our organization’s software landscape. The platform combines detailed software inventory tracking with automated license management to see exactly what is installed, where, and how it’s being used. I also appreciate the intuitive dashboard and centralized management, making complex asset management tasks simpler, enabling me to work efficiently and make informed decisions across the enterprise.

What do you dislike most about this product?

‎Its complex integration process with legacy systems is time-consuming, requiring manual configuration or additional IT resources, which may slow down deployment and initial ROI.

What differentiates USU Software Asset Management from other similar products?

Its strong license intelligence. It can handle complex vendor rules (like microsoft, oracle or SAP) instead of just showing how many installations exist. That means compliance reports are more reliable and audits are less painful.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It actually understands vendor licensing rules and applies then correctly. That makes the compliance results feel reliable instead of something I have to double check in excel.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The interface can feel a bit technical for new users so there's a learning curve before fully comfortable using it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's powerful tool . Plan for proper setup involve someone who understands licensing rules and integrated it with your IT processes. If you do that, it pays off. If you just want simple software inventory, it may feel like overkill.
