The fact that we require one more robot license to execute the background operation is extremely inconvenient and costly.

Because we do not use all of the features of this product. So far, we have experienced no issues. So far, working with UiPath has been a great and educational experience. More machine learning and artificial intelligence training would be fantastic. This tool took some time for me to learn. If you want the greatest RPA tool, acquire it without hesitation. The use of RPA can save the organization money by decreasing labor costs and improving the efficiency of our job. Is this a helpful tool for automating monotonous chores, with new capabilities added with each new version? Dashboards are also highly informative. When looking for duplicate tasks, task simulation and process mining might be effective.

UIPath is without a doubt the leader within the RPA area. It has a fantastic array of features that allow you to build automation flows without a need to be a programming export. Their WYSIWYG / GUI interface is great, the drag and drop features when planning a flow make it simple to follow and simple to build. The ability to read handwritten notes and translate them correct into text is something that still amazes me. We have a number of flows which rely on handwritten note internally or from end-users, UiPath has a great ability to quickly write these notes into text and does so very accurately.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The biggest annoyance is actually deploying the tool to the devices you want to start automating from. UIPath has no real MDM support so using traditional MDM solutions like Intune on Windows or JAMF on Mac will result in a lot of tests, custom scripting and so on before being able to push the application to devices and actually connect the UiPath client to the central unit via API and Password connections. Once this is done it's pretty smooth but it's a huge obstacle.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're moving out of the start-up phase / Maturing as a company now would be a great time to invest into RPA. Ultimately using people to plug up holes in inefficiency isn't ideal, additionally using something like UiPath removed a huge amount of the boring repetitive work meaning employees are able to focus on the creative and important tasks. I would highly recommend to companies with huge areas in Finance, Marketing, Legal and HR as those areas are well suited.
