What differentiates Splunk Enterprise Security from other similar products?
Splunk log analysis is more effective compared to other SIEM tools and it is good in log retention as well.Investigation of logs is more unique in it and creating dashboards are more easy.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Log analysis and creating rules based on the log sources

License part is bit costliest.

Splunk helps in getting maximum value from our data without much intervention after initial implementation.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Once you are comfortable with the tool, the plethora of customization options it provides is very helpful both for us as well for the end users.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Building queries to extract data needs some time.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Splunk is definitely the industry leader for log monitoring. Even though the license cost is a bit higher than some of the other tools, the tool capabilities justifies the price.
