What differentiates Sophos Email from other similar products?
I really like the security banners at the top of the email with the capability to block and report the email as spam for each user. It also allows users to see if a sender is trusted or not. Then when smart hosting out through Sophos it strips the banner out and will not be seen to the the outside world. I cannot stand O365 banners that repeat many times in an email chain. This is one of the best features.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ease of use, setting up DKIM and other security features took 5 minutes and support was amazing. We were online and filtering emails in no time and the end users loved the 3 spam digests a day that we setup. People would only get one with our previous tool and they would have to wait to the next day to see something got held.
What do you dislike most about this product?
They are not FedRAMP and we require that for our industry, even with how great this software platform is we will be moving away from it soon.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Vet all the features, make sure it will do what you need and comply with your situation. NIST 800-171 was easy but CMMC and other added requirements make this platform limited for us. Make sure you have a good Sysadmin to setup the platform or get their pro services. Even if your Sysadmin is good, I would recommend the pro services as they were super helpful and had knowledge the KB articles did not.

What differentiates Sophos Email from other similar products?
Easy to setup configure and enable very complex technology in a few minutes. Other products lack DKIM and DMARC capabilities that are easy like Sophos.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of administration and how it integrates to all their other products.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Tech support is always a non American sounding person. Not always an issue but the language barrier is difficult .
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Do you research and make sure it fits your needs.
