What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
The first thing that comes to mind is the easy to use nature of snowflake. Snowflake also allows flexible use of resources as it is helpful in scaling and pricing.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Snowflake allows easy access to multi cloud technologies and can be easily integrated with other clouds like AWS, GCP etc. As our data is distributed in different clouds and various services they provide it is very handy to fetch and use data from any of these services.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Complete migration from snowflake can be a little hard to achieve because of its unique architecture. Snowflake also struggles when applications require ultra low latency requirements
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
A considerable learning curve is needed to use snowflake and good understanding of data Engineering and cloud concepts can be helpful.
